”Silly you, have your seat ” she motioned towards the seat close to her.

”You are here about that human right? ” She asked before I could talk.

”How are you aware of that? ”

” Arran was here a couple of days ago, he was also worried about you ”.

I nodded telling her to go on.

”Why don you tell me what about her made you come here? ” She asked, I knew she would be hesitating if I don tell her how I feel.

”I feel attracted to her, and my wolf and I get excited when shes close by. I was miserable when I did not see her for some days. I know she is not my mate but why am I feeling that way towards her? ” I held back a little while explaining my concern to her in a few words.

”How long have you been seeing her? ”

”Some weeks, maybe a couple of months ”

She pondered quietly on what I just said, with her brows furrowed she asked another question.

”Have you had any physical contact with her?

” Yes, but I can remember what happened that day clearly ”.

”I believe she is your mate but I might be wrong ” She said after a while looking me straight in the eyes.

I must have heard her wrong.

”Have you forgotten I am not fated to have a mate? ” I asked her laughing, but my heart quickened. If what she just said is true that means I would also get to experience the joy of getting mated to my true mate and not just a chosen one.

The statement kept running through my mind till I made it back to the house.

I know she would never say anything she wasn sure of and if Arran had met that can only mean that she had been trying to solve the mystery or she had solved it.

He remained quiet for some time looking out the window before replying.

”I grew curious about her, she is an interesting girl ” he chuckled softly at his words.

Hearing him explain her in those made my inside burn with jealousy.

He had always described her as that human and now he was describing as an interesting girl.

”Don you dare get anywhere close to her ” I warned and he turned sharply towards me at the tone of my voice.

”And what if I did? ” He asked, smirking before vanishing into the air.

My gaze remained fixed on the spot he was just a second ago.

I balled up my fist, not feeling the pain from my fingers pressing into my palm.
