”Zane, good luck bro, if fate allows us, we will meet again. ”

Before he could reply, Jack was dragged away by a guard and was given to a nobleman. It was his turn to be sold,

”1 gold ” a loud shout from a merchant

”2 gold, ” a tall, middle-aged noble lady with a red gown and red umbrella accompanied by a bulk man next to him shouted on the side.

”2.5 gold ” a lecherous man was looking at him, like a snake wanting to devour him.

*Gulp*

”Crap, oh gosh, please don . I need to find a way, ” he screamed to himself.

”Going once, ” ”Going Twice ”

The hammer was about to be dropped when the fat announcer heard a loud shout, ”STOP! ”

Surprised, he looked below the podium. He did not see anyone raising their hands. Everyone was shocked because it was not the crowd that stopped the announcer, but it was a mere slave.

Looking at where the crowd was looking, he saw the brown-haired man with hands still in the air. Anger rose to him, and he was about to ask the guard to shut him up. But suddenly.

”Wait!

Zane looked at the crowd. And found someone that might be able to save his life. He saw a beautiful middle-aged woman wearing a red gown that looked rich. She had the air of noble, with her pink skin and sophisticated dress.

”Respected Madam ” Zane bowed with his iron cuffs.

Zane looked her in the eye and fiercely said, ”Buy me and I will make sure that I will be the most valuable slave in this market, ”

”Oh ” the woman was surprised and intrigued, she smiled and said, ”If you bet your life on the line, then I will agree with your condition. ”

”Madam, this cannot happen. Let me send him to the guards to discipline him first. And we will make sure.. ” said the slave trader.

Before he can even finish, Zane agreed and shouted, ”I agree. ”

”I will buy him for 10 Gold ”

Although there were some hiccups, the Slave Trader was glad that Zane was being sold for ten gold.

”Going once ” ”Going twice ” looking at the crowd.

The crowd went wild.

The bulky bearded man next to the red-gowned woman said in a whisper, ”Why did you buy him that much? I don think he is worth that much. ”

”I think he has potential. I can see it in his eyes. I have a feeling that he will bring me surprises. Besides, it is just 10 gold for an investment. ”

”To be able to come out with that situation, his boldness was surely intriguing. How interesting. We will see what your future holds. ”

Like a snake, she licked her lips and started to walk away.

Zane, with his back full of sweat. If it wasn for his intervention it would have been his death of him. He would rather die than be used as a toy.

Before he can breathe calmly, he heard a shout from the bearded man, ”Follow the other slaves and move to ships! ”

Can I identify people? He thought. Looking at the bearded man, he used his identification.

Zane was shocked by what he saw. Suddenly, realizing that the bearded man that looks harmless can kill him with one slap scared him.

How is this person so strong? He looks like a middle-aged but his age already is 76, how?

Without wasting any time, he followed the slaves that were heading to the ship. Two huge wooden ships, a frigate size, were docked. Above these ships was a black and white snake logo.

Entering one of the ships, hundreds of slaves can be seen around. Zane was tossed to one of the pens with the other slaves.

Inside the pen, there were about ten slaves. Some look murderous and some look like a farmer himself. Zane went to an empty corner and started contemplating what happened in the past few hours.

He thought to himself, How did I transmigrate? The last thing I remember was a flash of light enveloping me.

After a while of thinking, there wasn any answer he can find. So, he gave up thinking about what caused the transmigration and instead decided to focus first on his current situation.

The ship started moving after a few hours. Meanwhile, Zane heard that it would take five days for them to arrive at their destination. The destination being is Capricia City or so-called the ”Slave City. ”

Now that he doesn have anything to do, he looked around and started to use his genetic skill Identity on the guards and the slaves.

Compared to the bearded man, they have pathetically low stats. Most of the slaves were around LVL 2 and LVL 3, and the highest being LVL 7. This Level 7 was the captain of the guard who went down to check the status of the slaves.

He found out how the level works. A level 1 person has the average strength of an adult man. A person that is LVL 1 can only have a maximum of 1 on each attribute.

A person who is LVL 2 can only have a maximum of 2 on each attribute. A person who is LVL 3 can only have a maximum of 3 on each attribute.

However, it doesn mean that the persons Strength, Agility, Perception, and Consitution will all have the stats of 2. Some of their stats will vary but will not be greater than their level.

For example, the captain of the guard is LVL 7. His highest stat is 7 constitution, but his strength is at 4, while his other stats are at 3 and 2. If one stat is increased to another level, then the system automatically updated updates the persons level.

I see that I have experience 0/10, do I beat people to level up?

For the next few days, he started learning his System and getting used to the commands. Zane cannot still use the Craft button and the other options. He also confirmed that the System could not talk to him nor give him other temporary benefits.

Five days passed quickly, and the ship arrived at Slave City.

Zane was surprised at what he saw. Thousands of slaves with different kinds of scars were busy with their own duties along with their masters. It was easy to figure out what type of class they are in, if one has burned scar on their face then it means that they are owned by someone.

Zane looked around the docs. He was greeted by many merchants selling all random items, from weapons, food, slaves, beasts, and pets. He saw massive carriages and new types of animals that can never be found on earth.

Houses built in stones were everywhere. Some stalls were lined up, and some were just randomly added. Zane can hear all kinds of transactions, shouting, and fighting.

”Stop looking around! Move! shouted by the Captain of Guards.

After walking for over thirty minutes. Zane, and about hundreds of slaves were moved orderly to a huge courtyard nearby the docs.

Above the huge courtyard, there was a three-story stone house with a balcony. He saw a familiar woman walking on the balcony above.

”Everyone, welcome to the Slave City. If you are wondering who I am, the name is Jezebel, your owner. If you serve me well, I can grant you freedom. ”

Although the voice is soft and gentle, the slaves magically heard it loud and clear.

”LIES! ” one of the slaves suddenly shouted. ”You killed my younger brother on the ship because he requested some medicine for our older sister! ”

”You deserve dea.. ” Before she can finish, her whole body exploded in minced meat.

”Anyone else wants to say something? ” The silence was among the crowd.

Gulp unconsciously stepped back.

Fear spread among the slaves. They did not even see how she died on the spot: no weapon or anything.

Magic!? Zane screamed in his mind. Without an inkling of hesitation, Zane scanned the lady in red.

Oh, Shit! he exclaimed.

This Jezebel is more of a monster than the bearded man.
