When she opened her eyes, she saw a familiar place, a place that almost made her pee her pants. She was lying in a bed. But the room wasn hers, no, she was back in the dream!

No, no, no! Zhao Xing, sat up straight as she frantically looked around. It was morning. A maid came in to wake her up, but since she was already awake, she asked to help her get ready.

Zhao Xing was at lost for words, how could they act like nothing was wrong when she was here panicking?

But what could she do?

”Eh… ” She struggled at how to address her.

”Grand tutor, this servants name is Nuo Nuo ” the servant girl said wisely.

”Ah, Nuo Nuo…cough…this… ” Zhao Xing struggled at how to ask her question. She really wanted to know at least a bit of what the situation in this place was.

”What dynasty is this ”

The little maid looked at her, surprised, before quickly lowering her head to answer, ”This is the Xia dynasty ”

Xia dynasty? How come shes never heard of it, or seen it in history books? Did she read something like this anywhere before..?

She asked a few more questions, the maid answered patiently, explaining in details all she knew, as Zhao Xing got ready.

From the information she acquired, the current emperor was sick, and most of the official duties had been handed over to the crown prince, which was of course the one that picked her up and threw her to this dungeon he called his mansion.

Well as good things never come to ad people, The crown prince, in spite of his hard work, many officials were inclined towards the fourth prince.

The Forth Prince on the other hand was not bad at plotting, and somehow, the hard working crown prince turned into a joke, when he lundered during a natural disaster relief the emperor sent him on. Somehow the forth prince came up with an idea to solve the problem, gaining the attention of his Imperial father.

Zhao Xing found the story very interesting and was wondering why she didn have something to chew on while she listened, like sunflower seeds or something.

Zhao Xing thought the Crown Prince might really be a stupid person, for him to fall into such a trap. Well, she thought to herself, if this guy was really as stupid as she thought, she could easily manipulate him. Thinking about it more, he might really be stupid, or just too naive. She remembered how he approached her yesterday and shook her head.

He really is just a vase, good looking, with no brains she thought to herself, suddenly feeling the pretty face was such a waste!

if Lu Yang had that face, he would be confident enough to chase Shan Shan She then sighed.

Seeing her sigh, Nuo Nuo thought it was because of the Crown Princes predicament, and said nothing.

When Zhao Xing asked about the Crown Princes whereabouts, Nuo Nuo told her he had gone for morning court. Hearing this, Zhao Xing was extremely happy, she felt like a boulder had been removed from her heart.

She gave a big smile, suddenly this place didn look that annoying anymore. Especially when another maid came in to tell her breakfast was set.

Zhao Xing wasn much of a foodie, but she really loved seeing food nicely set and steaming like what she saw when she was led to the table.

Zhao Xing ate breakfast and decided to go for a walk, enjoying the scenery of the manor, it wasn easy to come by one even in her world. Her morning was spent leisurely, she almost felt as if her dream had come true, though her world still had advantages over this place by far, especially with Wifi, phones, tv, computers, things she couldn live without!

Zhao Xing didn know how much time had passed but soon there was news that the Crown Prince had returned. After receiving so much information this morning, she felt more confident, and was ready to face the prince.

Soon after she was summoned by the prince, as she had expected.

”Greetings Crown Prince ”

She was taken to the Princes study with Xiao Chen waiting at the door, and later let her in, where he sat at the table with a bunch of what seemed like memorials. The study was spacious, with shelves full of scrolls and books of different sizes. There were also some plants here and there, treasures of all kind being displayed as well as paintings, and calligraphy hung on walls or displayed on tables. Just like on TV!

Moving her eyes to the Prince…it was day now, and the princes features were much clearer. Zhao Xing couldn help but sigh.

Handsomeness was real, it wasn makeup, nor was it surgery! Now she believed. God knows what would happen in her school if a man looking like this came. There would be an uproar.

He looked tall even when he sat down. He had peach blossom eyes, and a jawline carved by divine hands! Thin lips, a tall nose bridge, brows that looked like blades, giving him an air of seriousness. He was still in his palace apparel, the aura of royalty was all around him. If put in their world with a suit instead, he would be the perfect description of a successful CEO, girls go crazy for. Though he seemed a bit worn-out it only accentuated his overall beauty…

This…this was a true masterpiece!

”Is there something on Grand tutors mind? ”

”Ah? Ehh, not…nothing really, this one was just wondering what the Crown Prince wanted from me. ” Who would confess they were staring at you because they were stunned by your beauty? She wasn that bold!

The prince was as silly as she thought, he wasn suspicious, and went on to answer her.

”This prince, called you here to tell you about the current predicament in court. I hope grand tutor could give me advice on what to do. ” he went on to say, ”I know, grand tutor is not from this world, my master told me before, he said hed help me summon you, that youd be of great help to me. He also told me to not keep anything from you, so Ill tell you everything I know. ”

So if she got this Bai Lians (Pretty face) words right, she was summoned here by his master. then she really needed to settle accounts with this person.

”I see you already got some information about my identity, as well as recent happenings ” He said as he smiled, giving Zhao Xing goosebumps. How did he know…so much of what she asked?

Seeing her surprised face, the prince explained, ”Every servant in this manor serve me wholeheartedly. I know I have a bad habit of trusting people too much. My mother knew this about me so she helped me all the way till she passed away. So everyone you see, and talk to will report everything they see or hear to me. ”

Every word was like knife piercing into Zhao Xings skin. Was this a trap? He just threatened her. Did she just walk into the tigers lair? And she thought this prince was stupid? If anything it was her that was the fool! Manipulate? Pah! That will never work! She needs a plan B!
