I can’t use any common skills!

After going in I saw the notification and I checked around and saw I was alone this wasn the dungeon that the test examiners mentioned, it was a ghost and ghoul-type dungeon.

I checked around and saw many monsters that were definitely above my level, so I asked, ”Bolt, what do you recommend right now? ”.

[Bzz, upgrade the luck skill to an Uncommon grade skill and use up all your points for the common gacha.]

”Ok, so do it right now. ”, I said.

”Ok, so what do the two skills do exactly? ”

[Bzz, The Steel Body skill hardens the body as steel and the Elemental Body skill allows the user to resonate with the elements around you, the user is only able to control the wind as of now.]

Ok that makes it a bit safer, I tried testing out the elemental ability and I was able to make wind slashes that can cut through rocks, so I tried using my arm as a sword since it was already as hard as steel and it worked, I also covered my attacks with internal energy so that it would hurt the ones that don have a physical body.

I slashed a lot and the ghosts and ghouls couldn do a thing to me anymore, I also earned 350p after the fight, I got a bunch of rare skill scrolls and tomes, I used some of them to earn points and I was able to get 150p for 5 rare skills that would usually be worth over 1 million dollars each, I decided I would only use common skills as a source of points and just sell the rare skill scrolls or tomes I get.

I needed to upgrade the swordsmanship skill because it was just at an apprentice level and I was still not in the middle area of the gate I am starting to have a bit of a hard time and so I asked, ”Bolt, you could upgrade the swordsmanship skill? ”.

So I continued and the fights became a bit easier after the upgrade of the swordsmanship skill and after a while, I reach the middle area of the gate and I had to fight the mini-boss, it was a huge swamp golem, it took quite a while because of its hard skin and it was able to regenerate but still it was defeated.

I got a bunch of skills that I needed and wanted but I could only sell it or make it to points, I also got 1,500p after defeating the mini-boss of the gate.

I was excited because I had better chances with the gacha and with the Luck skill it would be even higher, so I asked Bolt to do it.

I was even more excited because it just might make it easier to fight the boss so I asked Bolt to open the skill panel again.

I was now ready to fight the boss because now I had a healing skill, so I went into the final area of the gate the monsters became harder to fight now and I became unsure if I could defeat the boss.

After a while I finally reached the place where the boss is and I only saw a statue with a big sword on a throne, I thought that the statue was the boss because it was the only one in the room and I was right, the stone fell on the floor and it showed an Undead King under it.

Its power and swordsmanship were definitely above mine I was barely hanging on because of the energy Shield, Steel body, and regeneration skills, after almost a day I was only able to take out half of his health but I continued to fight him and I was finally able to defeat him and the stuff I received was just his sword and 2 skills that I thought were overpowered, I also got 5,000p for defeating the boss.

I didn want to spend all of the points I just earned but I thought of it as a long-term investment and the system told me to put up a representative and an item of the representative was needed so I used the sword I got and chose the Undead King as the representative.
