Zheng/狰- A legendary leopard like beast.
It does appear later in the book and I’ll show scenes from the web comic as they come but for now imagine it as a huge as demented leopard with five times the number of tails and an extra horn.

a thousand pieces of gold under a man’s knees/男儿膝下有千金- this is basically saying that a man does not kneel easily in front of others due to pride etc.
In context, Jiang Chao Ge basically has no pride in front of money.
