Inside the cozy room, the morning sunshine passed through the crack of the open window, leaving a striped shadow on the floor.

At the center of the bed, a child lay covered in a beige plaid blanket with his small body curled up.
Not knowing how much time had passed, his long and dense eyelashes moved about, and gradually, a pair of ink-colored eyes was revealed.
His white and soft paws rubbed against his eyes as he covered his mouth while letting out a long yawn.

Saturday! A good day for sleeping.

Wei Jing sat on the bed for a while to wait for his mind to regroup.
Not until then did he rise from bed and put on his slippers, heading towards the bathroom to wash up, creating a “Piada piada” sound.

After getting everything ready, the child opened the door and a huge yellow cube-like doll that was the height of an adult overbalanced.
The child just…foolishly got crushed by the doll.

Wei Jing: =-=

A huge yellow sponge with a long and thin arm and leg and a huge smile on his face.
That was…Wei Jing’s childhood idol, the cute, funny, and retarded Spongebob, even its best friend was provided to him — Patrick, the pink starfish.

With a bewildered expression on his face, Wei Jing held onto the humongous sponge that was more than double his height and the small starfish that could be held with only a single hand.
That time when his big brother said that he was going to give him a doll, he thought it was only a joke, but today…they just appeared without any signs.

He was really….touched, so touched that he was about to cry.

Real tears.

Placing Spongebob and its best friend Patrick in a corner of his room, the child let out a soft sigh and wiped out the sweat on his forehead.
Don’t you have to be at least slightly considerate with the size of your gift? Was he planning to make him a bed?

With a helplessly world-weary demeanor, Wei Jing arrived at the foyer and saw his big brother on his way out of the house in a suit.

“Big brother, where are you going?” The child quickly asked.
Usually, big brother would stay home during the weekends to take classes with the family’s private tutor.
It was still early in the morning.
What happened today?

“The Advance Placement Exam.” Wei Zhe tidied his sleeves while responding.
The thirteen year old teenager’s height was still increasing, the black haute couture suit made him appear taller and straighter, his waist skinnier and his leg longer.

“Ah!” The child widened his mouth surprisingly with an admiring look, “Big brother is so outstanding, are you going to skip to 9th grade?”

“No.” Wei Zhe used a tone as casual as if he was merely informing Wei Jing about what was on the menu.
“I discussed this with father, and we decided I should skip straight to 12th grade.”

Wei Jing thought his ear had malfunctioned.
“What did you just say?”

“Jump to 12th grade.” Wei Zhe raised his brows and repeated his words bemusedly.

The heck! There was this kind of thing? Wei Jing almost kneeled before his big brother.
Just who was the one who got reborn! Was the golden finger appointed to the wrong person? “You can jump that many grades at once? Did the administration permit it?” He asked with a trembling voice.

“What problem can’t be solved with money?” Wei Zhe glanced at the child in a baffled way.
“It was only jumping grades, you can do it too if you want to…” While the child’s eyes beamed with admiration, Wei Zhe let out a soft sigh.
“But your grades…nevermind!”

What was wrong with my grades? Wei Jing pouted angrily.
You would be surprised to death if I told you, I even know how to solve college level problems! Ha!!

Recalling their last lifetime, Wei Jing had been particularly good at one subject but particularly bad at another.
