Summer in this town has never been this beautiful.

The skies were clearer than ever, the sun was mild and photo worthy while the wind blew life into everything around it, including my flowery blue dress and I was here for it. But being in the moment isn even enough, especially as an orphan who just moved from my country to a new city in search of a better life.

I have to start life like I never knew anyone before. It is for the best. After my parents accident, everything about my home town made me nauseous. I just picked my bag and left immediately after the burial. I couldn stay home alone anymore. I could hardly do things without thinking about them.

I have no job, and no money but at least I got an admission to the Five Bridges college. All I came with from my hometown is a light traveling bag and dreams or like some will say it, a dollar and a dream.

”Hes a bit of a brooder. ” The shorter friend mocked.

I got uncomfortable and got up from the chair. ”Im…Im just here for the typist job. ”

”you, uh…you sure you want to work for him? ” The other friend tried fooling with me.

”Im sure I want to pay my tuition. ” I replied.

”Why don you get your parents to pay for it? ” The second friend said,

I wondered if I was in high school because how can a cute guy sound so much like an overdue cunt?

I wanted to bathe and baptize him with some insults to go home with but I kept cool.

”My parents are dead. ” I said.
