Looking at the message in front, I approached moms ear and whispered

” Mom as you don have any experience with these kind of parties and don know any people who will be present there , you will ask me for my help to convince dad, saying that its better for you to stay at home. ”

I heaved a sigh of relief as I found out the skill worked. Taking my hand off her shoulder I waited for 10 seconds.

The figure of my mom started moving again and returned to washing clothes ”

I knocked on the door to get her attention. Looking back she said ” Baby when did you get here? ”

” Just now mom ” I said

” So tell me why my little baby is here? ” she asked as she put down the clothes from her hand .

” Mom I wanted to ask what is your plan about the party? ” I said wanting to check out the results of the skill.

A worried look appeared on her face as her eyebrows furrowed but then she looked at me and said

” Baby I don think its a good idea for me to go there. So could you help me convince your dad to let me stay here? ”

I was extremely happy about the results of the skill but kept a straight face on the outside

” Sure mom you don need to worry , I will help you in convincing dad but on the condition we hire someone to do housework so that you can rest. ”

She was about to say something but I continued before she could start ” Mom I know you like doing housework but its about time you have some rest and I am sure dad will agree with me . ”

Mom fell silent for about a minute as she thought about the matter and then finally nodded

” Fine but I will still continue to do some work to relieve my boredom. ”

I didn need to think twice about it as I knew it was the best possible option. I hugged her and said

” Thanks mom . I love you so much. ”

She smiled and hugged me back ” I love you too . Now go and let me do the work . ”

I nodded and said ” Fine but don push yourself too hard. ”

Kissing her on the cheek I went to my room

She chuckled as she said ” Silly child. ” and went back to washing the clothes.

In the evening dad came back from office and mom told him that she didn want to go to the party.

Dad initially refused but under mine and moms continued persuasion he finally agreed .

Then I started the topic about hiring someone for housework and dad immediately agreed as he also knew mom was pushing herself too hard.

After eating dinner I went back to my room and relaxed.

The first phase of the plan is now completed . Now I have to wait till next week to start the next phase.

The next few days went quickly and I just spent majority of my time with mom and dad.

I also helped mom in her work, she initially refused but accepted after I continued pestering her.

Dad also hired someone for housework and she would start working 2 days after the party .

I used 1 SP to increase luck and 1 SP to increase my looks as they would be helpful in the next phase of plan.

I was surprised by the effects of increasing my looks stat.

Previously I had the looks of a normal guy, neither handsome nor ugly .

But now I could definitely be called good looking . Mom also asked about the sudden changes but I just said it was her imagination.

The wait finally ended and today was the day when dad and I go to the party at Bens mansion.
