Reborn as the 2nd Princess

A few months has passed and summer has finally has finally arrived. Today marks the day of my new baby sister/brother birth. Isabella and I are waiting outside our mothers room, a few healers ran inside a few hours ago and haven came back out since.

After about five minutes of awkward silence I begun to grow bored of just sitting here doing nothing. Oh how I miss my phone….

”Touya, are excited that your going to be a big sister now? ” My older sister asks.

”Hn. As long as that baby doesn take away all of mothers attention… We can come to a compromise. ” I said earning a giggle from Isabella.

”Thats not how it works Touya, a baby needs a lot of attention. ” She says. ”And you certainly was a handful back then. You were practically glued to mother and I side. ” I sent her a playful glare.

”Looks like Ill have a bit of competition from the brat. ”

”your not that much older than the baby. ” She replies.

”Never said I was, just trying to spend as much time with the two of you as I can. Starting tomorrow according to father, Ill be start my studies and training on mana tomorrow. ” I tell her. ”And don you have to start practicing for when you become queen or something? What was that womans name…. Ah! Mrs.— ” I quickly stopped. ”Never mind, forgot again. ” I say.

The door to the room finally opens. One of the healers pokes his head out of the room and motions us to come inside.

The wailing of a baby girl hit our ears and I immediately grew annoyed but kept a calm expression for my mothers sake. ”Hello mother! Was the delivery a success? ” My sister asks with a smile.

”Yes it was, come here and meet your baby sister. ” Mother says, we climbed up on the bed and see an infant girl in her arms wrapped in a blanket. The infant opened her eyes, they were a lighter shade of green unlike my fathers dark green eyes. Her light green eyes met my aurora borealis colored ones.

”That thing didn hurt you did it mother? ” I asked my eyes narrowed at the newborn.

”Touya, Im fine. And this is your baby sister, Hilda. ” Mother says with a gentle smile. ”Your a big sister now, so please be gentle on her. ”

”Fine, ” I said and my newborn baby sister just kept on looking at me with her big green eyes. Her tiny arms and hands reached out for me like I did with Isabella.

”Would you like to hold her first Touya? ” I slowly nod my head and pick up… Hilda? Yeah, Im pretty sure thats what her name was. Hilda.

”The baby is cute I guess…. ” I say with a soft blush on my cheeks.

After a few moments my father enters the room and walks over to us without a word. He looks at the baby in my arms and then at my mother. ”Whats the babys name and gender? ” He asks. Not even sparing a glance at Isabella or asking mom if shes alright.

”HER name is Hilda. You would have known that if you had stayed by mothers side. ” I said glaring at him.

”Watch who your talking to Touya, I am your father. ” He says. ”Hand that useless thing to your older sister. Your instructor is here and ready for you now lets go. We don have all day. ” He then walks out the room. I hand Hilda over to Isabella and kiss my mothers forehead. ”Don listen to him, father is just a fool. ” I say and get off the bed. ”Ill be back later on to check up on the three of you. ” With that I walk out the room and catch up to father.

”I thought my training was going to start tomorrow? ” I said.

”Theres been a change of plans. ” He replies. ”I want you to be on your best behavior understood? Your instructor is a retired professor at the academy you will be going to once your older. ” He opens the double doors leading into the library.

”Now go, if I hear that youve been giving her a hard time you won be able to see Duke Vincents daughter for the next four months. And you can forget about going to the summer festival next week. ” He pushes me inside and and slams the door behind me.

”Tch, asshole. ” I say under my breath.

”Now, now, you really shouldn be saying such foul words for a girl your age. ” A womans voice rings out through the library. Out of the shadows, a tall woman wearing a silk black tight dress that hugged her body in all the right places, long pastel purple hair braided in the back, black lipstick and pink eyes with a mischievous glint.

”You must be my new student, princess Touya. ” The woman says, a shiver went down my spine after hearing her seductive voice.

”J-just Touya is fine. ” I say. ”Whats your name? ”

”Im your new teacher, Lisa Minci. You should feel honored to be trained by one of the three great sages. ”
