Rise of Izuzunu

”We
e actually doing it… we
e gonna kill the dragon ” Collin said to Tidus.

Tidus filled his backpack with potions and arrows ”Yeah ”

”Do you maybe think… we could run away? ” Collin asked.

Tidus stops packing ”What are you talking about? ”

”I… I don know.. its just that… we might die risking our lives to kill the dragon ” Collin explained himself.

”You
e right ” Tidus stood up and walked to Collin ”But its for a good reason.. People are dying because of this monster ” Tidus says.

”So.. our death is for a good cause? ” Collin asked.

”Yes.. but if you want to run away to save your own life… then go ahead ” Tidus spoke out ”I love this town.. so Im gonna do everything in my power to save it, even if I die ”

”I see… me too! ” Collin changed his mind about running away ”I won be a baby and run away! I will join you guys to fight the kaimog dragon! I will risk my life for Izuzunu! Even if it means Ill die! ”

”Good ” Tidus smiles as he goes back to packing.

”Yeah.. Good ” Collin grabs his bow and puts it in his backpack.

Mikey and George are back at their house ”I think Im ready ” George said to Mikey.

”Alright, lets head to Aka and them already ” Mikey said.

Everyone says their Goodbyes to their loved ones as they
e leaving to the dark dimension.

”Goodbye, mom and dad ” Eungi hugs his parents.

Aka smiles ”Never knew you had parents ”

Eungi laughs ”Yeah.. I never really tell anyone that I had parents ”

”Hey Aka! ” Melanie shouted as she smiles ”Im ready to kick the Kaimog Dragons butt! ”

Aka laughed ”Hahahaha! Im so sorry Melanie, but this is up to the big kids only ”

”Aww! Why can I go!? ” Melanie pouts.

”Its too dangerous. We
e fighting a huge dragon today. Im sorry but I can take this risk ” Aka said.

”Hes right ” Kayla joins the conversation ”You have to stay home, okay Melanie? ”

”Yeah, I guess ” Melanie sadly said ”But.. what if you guys don make it back? ”

”We will ” Aka said.

”But what if you don ? ” Melanie asks again.

”We will.. And when we do come back, lets drink some sodizu together! ” Aka shouted smiling.

”Yeah! ” She exclaimed.

”Promise? ” Melanie holds her pinkie out.

”Yes, I promise… whatever that means ” Aka promises Melanie.

”Alright… whos ready to go? ” Aka stood up, all prepared, like a brave warrior going into battle, wearing an all white with red squares and circles symbolizing Izuzunu, like the flag.

”I am ” They all said together.

”Thanks for making this for me ” Aka said to Chloe as he put on his armor.

”No problem ” She replied.

”Then… lets go ” Aka lead the team.

RISE OF IZUZUNU

VOLUME 1, CHAPTER 9, THE KAIMOG DRAGON

THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE

Aka brought along some other Druzels with him too. He brought five of them and gave them armor and weapons.

”Alright, I think we
e about 1,000 meters far from home ” Eungi says.

”Im so tired! ” Chloe shouts.

”Are you sure the book is showing us the directions? ” Edison asked.

”Yes, it should ” Eungi says.

”I think we
e under it ” Aka said.

The map shows the same area they
e at; a huge lake which is on their left.

”Rex? Whats wrong? ” Summer notices a Druzel with purple and black energy covering Rexs arms.

”Ah! ” Rex screams out loud.

”Rex! ” Aka shouted as he helps Rex up.

”Ah! It burns! It burns! ” Rex loudly screams.

”What do we do!? ” Aka yelled.

”I don know! ” Eungi yelled back.

Eungi holds Rexs hand ”Its going to be okay.. its going to be okay ” Eungis tears were visible as Rex slowly dies.

”Rex? ” Eungi checks if Rex was still with them.

”Rex!? ” Eungi shouted as Rex disappears with the purple energy.

The members were devastated by the death of Rex. The Kaimog Dragon took another life away. Aka sat there looking sad and angry.

”Was it the dragon again? ” Mikey asked.

”Yes ” Eungi says sadly.

”Lets hurry ” Aka says as he gets up from the ground and start digging straight down.

”Alright ” The team says.

”Im ready to end this dragons life ” Aka says.

Eungi wipes his tears away, along with the rest ”Me too! ”

Digging straight down they hit a stone brick ”The city ” George says out loud.

He grabs his pickaxe and breaks through the caves ceiling making all the members falling down to the city.

”Gah! ” They all fell.

”Alright guys, focus up. We
e here ” Aka said.

They all stood up.

”They all got up to see the underground city… it was a huge place filled with stone buildings and dark black and purple energy covering some of the buildings ” Aka says.

”No… way ” George says.

It was an abandoned city, it looks like the kaimogs has taken over the place.

”Now, all we gotta do is-… ” A zombie was heard from the paths of the city.

”Zombies! Everybody! Fight! ” A Druzel shouted as they all went and fought the zombies.

”Boom! ” ”Boom! ” The druzels accidentally set off traps.

Two Druzels got caught with the explosion and instantly dies.

”Alright, lets just go find the portal to the room! ” Mikey suggested.

THE KAIMOG PORTAL

A few minutes later the portal has been found.

”Woah ” They all said.

”Thanks, Eungi ” Aka thanked Eungi for helping them find the Kaimog portal ”Without you.. we wouldve never been able to do this ”

”Yeah ” Eungi replied.

”Yeah.. I got it ” Aka slowly walks to the portal on the wall.

A pitch black and white portal.

”Any last words? ” Edison asks.

”Yeah.. ” George says ”I hope we survive this together! And my pet dogs, I wish them well ”

”I want to wish us all luck! ” Mikey exclaimed.

”We will survive this together and I know it ” Kyle makes a statement.

”Yes, if I die, I want to leave my animals to Kayla ” Chloe said.

”Thank you ” Kayla replied ”I will also like to not die ”

”I will give Collin and Edison take all my money ” Tidus said.

”Same ” They both said.

”I will hope for all of us to survive this fight. Altogether. And hope to meet my uncle one day and tell him that Ive fought the dragon ” Summer made her last words.

”I hope this dragon dies and never takes the lives of innocent people anymore ” Eungi said.

”Well… I think its time we show the Dragon whos boss ” Aka said ”Goodluck ”

Aka thought about Melanie ”I will come back ” Aka looks back at the abandoned city and remembered all the times hes spent with all his friends and making this country together.

They all look back at the portal.

Aka surprised ”This is it… the Dark Dimension ”

THE DARK DIMENSION

”Woah! ” They all screamed as they fall onto the ground in the middle of an island surrounded by water.

Slowly standing up ”Are we here ” Kyle asked.

The skies were dark black and gray, the ground they stood on was made of a different material: different from Kepkury.

”Welcome to the dark dimension ” Edison said.

They hear a roaring in the distance. It was as loud as a train can be.

”Gah! ” They all covered their ears.

”I see that all of you arrived early ” The Dragon spoke.

”What?… it can talk? ” Aka whispers.

”Yes! I can talk! ” The Dragon talks again.

”Kaimog Dragon…. Your time has come to an end! ” Aka says as he looked up at the sky; looking at the dragon.

The other members do the same.

”No… it is your time to die ” The Dragon said as he roars through the sky.

”Alright, are you guys ready? ” Aka asks.

”Yes ” They all shouted.

”Alright….. lets go! ” Aka shouted as they all come running through the island with their bow and arrows aiming at the crystals.

”Break the crystals. Break the crystals. Break the crystals ” A Druzel tried to calm himself.

He shoots the arrow to the crystal as it explodes ”Boom! ”

”Lets go! I got one! Haha! I got one- ” The Dragon bites the Druzels head off as the Druzel falls to the ground, spewing out blood.

”Nooo! ” Aka screamed out.

At a pillar, a Druzel builds a little shack for the members to hide in whenever they need to rest for a short time.

”Boom! ” ”Boom! ” ”Boom! ” ”Boom! ” ”Boom! ” ”Boom! ” ”Boom! ” ”Boom! ” The members explode all the crystals except for one left.

The one that is left is protected by a metal cage.

”Shit! ” Kyle shouted.

”Alright, someones gonna have to go up there ” Eungi said.

”Me ” Aka gladly takes the offer as he starts sprinting towards the pillar.

Aka grabs his extendable ladder and extends it as he goes up.

”Cover me! ” Aka shouted as Chloe shoots the Dragons leg.

The Dragon roared in pain as it manages to kick off the arrow.

”Damn, Chloe.. Who taught you how to aim? ” Aka said.

”Roar! ” The Dragon flies into Aka as he falls off the ladder ”Ah! ”

Aka hits the ground on his head. ”Aka! ” Summer yelled.

”Ready! ” Chloe shouted as all of them aim to the Dragon ”Fire! ” They shoot their bow towards the Dragons body.

Then the Dragon turns full purple.

”Woah… Whats happening? ” Mikey asked as the ground starts shaking.

The Dragon is angry. It absorbs the crystals power and fuses it with his.

”Roar! ”

”Shut the ** up! ” Kyle shouted at the dragon.

”Oh hell nah ” Edison says.

”Ra! ” The Dragon uses the crystal to form an arm, a purple arm.

”The dragon has an arm now!? ” Tidus shouted.

He extends his arms and grabs Tidus ”Ah!! Why me!? You mother**er! ” The Dragon throws Tidus up to the sky.

He falls down towards the ground ”Oh shit! ”. Collin manages to catch Tidus ”Oh my god! That was so close! ” Collin shouted.

”Thanks ”

Summer runs to the shelter the Druzel created. ”Alright! Heal up! ” Aka pulls out his health potion and shares a drink with everyone.

”Okay, you guys ready to go back? ”

”Yeah ” Then silence came into the room.

Actually, its silent outside too.

”Why is it quiet? ” Kayla asked.

”I don know ” Aka answered.

”Boom! ” The whole building breaks down.

”What the-! ” Aka shouted.

The Dragon flies up to the sky and forms an purple ball.

”This is…. Dragons Breathe ” The Dragon blasts the Dragons Breathe to the house as Aka and the rest manages to dodge.

Summer gets hit by the breathe as she falls to the ground in pain.

”Ah! She screamed.

The Dragon looked at them ”Say goodbye to your little friend ” The Dragon says

”Noo! Summer! ” Aka runs to Summer as her legs are covered in the same purple aura everyone disappeared with.

”No! Summer… Are you okay? ” Aka asked.

”Aka… It burns ” She said as tears drips from her eyes.

”No.. Come on Summer! You can survive this! Please! ”

”Aka, just… can you do one thing for me?.. ” Summer asks Aka.

”What? What? What is it? ” Aka said.

”Take care of Izuzunu for me… And also, tell my uncle that… ” Summer stops.

”That what? ” Aka asked.

”I love him ” Summer said.

”Summer… You will survive this! ” Aka was sure.

Aka held her in his arms. Summer smiled. The purple energy slowly covers her whole body.

They both stared at eachother in tears. Summer being the only one smiling.

Eungi runs to Summer with his health potion ”Take it! Take it! ” He shouted in tears.

”Summer ” Aka says.

Her last words whispered ”Goodbye… Aka ”

The purple spreads to her face. Akas tears fall onto the ground as she disappears in thin air. Aka cries as he drops his arms down.

Eungi falls onto his knees as he drops the potion, spilling on the ground.

”It wouldn work ” Eungi says ”The potion wouldn heal her from the dragons breathe… nothing couldve ”

Aka sat there, tears falling.
