The Brothers Widow

Soon night came and now everyone was getting their lanterns ready and so we
e the royal family.

But Alexander just stared at everyone with an expressionless face. He literally didn know why he was here since he didn feel anything for the death of the crown prince.

A brother hee never new he had to be precise. ”Mom! isn that the late prince? ” A child asked mother and she replied, ”Shush! Face your front. ” And with that she dragged the child away.

Alexander didn seem surprise. They were all still surprised to see him and he just didn like the atmosphere that he was in.

He was given a nice chair to seat with the Emperor and Empress but he just didn feel comfortable.

Standing up, he said to the Emperor, ”Do excuse me your highness? ”

”Mhn! ” The Emperor replied and with that Alexander left and seeing that, the Empress tried to get up but she was held back down bed her husband.

”Just leave him be for today. He just arrived. ” He said and upon hearing that, the Empress sighed and nodded.

Once the remembrance ceremony was over, she was gonna haves a one on one chat with her son and clear any grudge or hatred he might have for her.

Seeing has everyone were starting to place their lanterns on the river, Veronica saw it has her cue to come out.

She walked towards the dark and cold corridor and then entered a big room which was actually a Tea room linking to a nice balcony that could see the view of the entire Palace.

Veronica wore a nice sike, white gown with a white cloth that covered her from the cold. She was still in mourning so she wore white but it has already been a year so she had the right to wear colored clothes once again but yet she stuck with her white attires.

The entered the room and walked outside the balcony….She closed her eyes has the sift wind blew through her.

As she opened her eyes, she was embraced with the beautiful light of lanterns that were kite by the people.

It was time!

The people started lighting their lanterns as they pushed it into the river as they joined their hands to pray for their later crown prince.

And Veronica did the same, ”I hope we meet again! ” she said as she placed her hands down and opened her eyes.

Meanwhile, Walking around the palace was Alexander as he was new here and was a little lost.

All he wanted to do was find a quiet and peaceful place to stay but he didn even know where to go.

As he wondered around, he saw a huge door open as a dim light which radiated the Crescent showers.

He walked in a little curious and saw a table with chair around but the room seem like it hasn been used although it was clean.

As he wanted to go out, he then notice another door far ahead and it was opened.

Coming out, he gasped at how beautiful the balcony was. it was huge and different flowers were around.

Roses, daises…any you could think of and they embraced him with a wonderful scent.

He walked towards the railings and from there he could see everyone and the lanterns that was flowing on the river.

He furrowed his brows until he heard a persons voice, ”Stay well Caspian! ”

He heard a soft and beautiful. Walking closer to where the person was, he saw a beautiful and slender back of a woman.

And just then she turned around and as their eyes mey it felt like the world had come to a stop.

He was astounded, not only was the woman in front of him beautiful, she had this type of eyes that resembled the beautiful moon.

But just then, tears started falling from the womans eyes and he was a little surprised to see her cry.

”C-caspian? ”
