Vivian, who just left, didn’t know it, but the second that Shien turned back toward the princess’s room, he immediately activated the [Stealth] skill, entered the stealth state, and erased his presence.  

 

Of course, it wasn’t that Shien wanted to act like a perverted thief or anything.  He just suddenly thought that if he, as a man, just openly headed toward the princess’s room, then those female knights guarding the entrance will probably just block him and keep him from entering at all.  

 

There are all those useless young nobles waiting for the princess to grace them outside after all, so the female knights here will definitely be highly vigilant against men.  As the protagonist here, Shien didn’t want to be lead by the nose by women and be forced to deal with the general clichés of having to try to explain a misunderstanding while holding back even when the other side was attacking him.  

 

Thus, Shien just decided to go straight into the [Stealth] state and sneaked of toward the princess’s room.  

 

The max leveled [Stealth] skill was obviously very powerful.  Plus, in order to prevent some kind of accident, getting discovered, and whole thing devolving into one of those classic clichés, he even took the Holy Sword in hand to use the buff from it to turn his level 10 skill to level 20.  Thus, with the massively boosted skill, Shien not only didn’t make a sound, even the his own magic power as well as the power of the Holy Sword was perfectly hidden.  

 

Wonder what would happen if he paired this status with his [Assassination] skill?

Shien’s hand itched.  He really wanted to try out being an assassin.  

 

However, Shien controlled himself and sneaked over to the princess’s room.  Then, with one hand on the Holy Sword, he quickly opened the door with his other hand and then dashed in.  

 

The entire process was done without a sound or trace.  

 

If anyone else had seen him, they’d definitely be loudly asking him – “How are you so practiced at that?”

As Lucy complained like that, she begun kicking her feet in the air as she wildly waved her arms.  

 

“I don’t want to work!  I don’t want to work!  I want to go out and play!”  

 

“I want to eat the pastries from Lillet’s shop!  I want to eat a banquet from Ashe’s shop!  I don’t want to keep eating the already cold food from the palace!”  

 

“Waahhh…  Vivian you idiot…  Why did you have to bring me something so troublesome?  Just what do those guys want from me!”  

 

“Ahhh…  So troublesome…  So troublesome…”  

 

As those dispirited complaint continued to be uttered, Shien who just sneaked into the room froze in response.  

 

As Shien watched Lucy airing her complaints to the air, rolling and kicking around without any attention to how she looked, messing up her bed, and even burring her flawless face into the covers without a hint of her previous serenity and glamour, various thoughts popped into Shien’s head.

“You’re not trying to just bluff your way through like that, are you?”

“Yes.  This matter is indeed very important.”  Lucy nodded and, without so much as a pause, spoke directly, “I think, whether it be for your own sake or that of the other person, you should pretend that the matter didn’t happen at all.  It’s best if you can actually erase that memory from your mind.  What do you think about this suggestion?”  

 

“I think so as well.”  Shien nodded in response before continuing, “As I thought, that’s not possible, right?”  

 

“That’s indeed no good.”  Lucy smiled, “Hn.  That’s no good.”  

 

The conversation ended.  

 

The air was once again filled by silence.  

 

Right afterward…

 

“Sorry to disturb you.”  

 

Shien turned about without hesitation and tried to leave.  

 

However a hand suddenly grabbed his shoulder and dragged him back.
