The House of Secrets

She arrived at the church around 8 a.m. Everybody is gathered in the church. She gets out of the car. She was thinking about the last meeting with Claire. She had an ugly fight with her. Sarah thought she had said harsh words to her. She was regretting her previous behavior. She was standing outside the church. As she was going inside the church, she saw three little ones running toward her. Sarah also saw Samantha with them. Samantha is her nanny. After her mothers death, she took care of them. Samantha always covers her face with a veil. Sarah and Clair have never seen her face. Samantha comes up to her and hugs her. Clair and Sarah respect her very much. Sarah was just standing there, didn react to anything. Adriana, Lilly, and Ian were standing beside her. Samantha introduces Sarah to them.

Hey, shes your auntie Sarah. ”Your mom talked about her lot, ” Samantha says to the kids.

She is my mom, ”Lilly says. ”

No, Lilly, she is our mother. She just looks like her. ”Come on, lets go inside, ” Adriana says, while grabbing the hands of Ian and Lilly.

Lilly gives hugs and saysI want to sit with her. Auntie, can I sit with you? ”

Sarah looks down at her. Yes, you can. ”To Lilly, ” Sarah says, ”while grabbing Lillys hand and walking into the church. ”

Sarah and the kids sat in the first row. A man walks up to the stage. He starts talking to the people.

When I first saw her My breath was taken away by her. Her brown hair and black eyes never let me forget her. She was so beautiful. I came up to her. Claire was standing with the girls. She saw me with a smile and there I was paused for a minute while he was talking. He saw Sarah sitting in the first row. You look like her. You have the same eyes as her. How much do you resemble her? As he is talking to Sarah, David Brown Sarahs father gets up from his chair and walks up to Michael Hadley. He motions for him to leave the stage.

I am Claires father. She is my little girl and she will always be my little girl. I remember her smile, like Michael said, she had a very beautiful smile. She was a strong woman. Claire always wanted to be independent and didn want to rely on anyone. At a very young age, she helped me out in my business. ”She was a beautiful soul, ” David Brown tells them. He comes down the stage and walks up to Sarah.

He asks Sarah to go up to the stage and say something good about her sister. She initially refused, but her father insisted she go up there. Sarah stands up and walks up to the stage. She goes up there. As she saw people sitting down there, Sarah just froze on the stage. She begins to tremble and sweat. David asks Samantha to take her down to the stage. As she was walking down, Sarah saw Michael was sitting with the woman. She was comforting him. Sarah takes a seat and sits quietly. After some minutes, when they were leaving for the cemetery, Sarah gets up and walks up to her father and says,

I want to see her face. Dad ” I want to see her for one last time. ” ”To David, ” Sarah says, ”

It can be possible, my dear. You don want to remember her like that, ”David says. ” He calls her Samantha. Take Ms. Samantha to the car.

Samantha grabs her arm and drags her to the car.

I want to see her. She is my sister. ”Please tell me youll let me see her, ” Sarah begs.

Oh my dear child, your father is right. ”You don want to see her like that because her face was crushed in the accident, ” to Sarah, ”Samantha says ”

I was selfish just thinking about myself, didn think she needed my help, and never made contact with her. I left her here. I did this to her. ”I am responsible for her death, ” Sarah tells her.

No, no, no kid. She had lived a wonderful life. She was happy. She wanted that life. She had three beautiful kids. It was unfortunate that she went so soon, but it was just a terrible accident and nothing else. Claire loves you so much. Claire does not want you to think like that. She wants you to be happy, my dear child. ”To Sarah, ” Sam says, ”

They arrived at the cemetery. Sarah gets out of the car. She walks up to the casket and tries to open it. Before she opens the casket, Mr. Brown stops her, takes her back to the car, and asks the driver to take her home. Mr. Brown asks Sam to take her home. He goes back to the casket. The car stops and Sarah gets out of the car. She runs up to the casket. This time, David pulls her hand, the ad says.

You are embarrassing me. I have a reputation here. You are here for just an hour and trying to ruin what she built. Just once, think about her, not yourself. Just think about your nieces and nephews. They lost their mother, so just for once, act like a responsible person, ”Mr. Brown whispers in her ear.

Sarah stands beside him with tears streaming down her face. Lilly grabs her hand tightly and says

”Auntie if you are scared, grab my hand tightly. It will make you feel better. ”

After listening to that, Sarah picks her up in her arms and cries. Sarah was very loud. After the funeral, when they were leaving for home, Hadleys brothers said they were going back home. They are taking the kids with them. They will come back in two days. They drive off. Mr. Brown, Sarah, and Sam get into the car. Sarah glares her eyes at the window. David was angry, which is why he was quiet. On the way home, they didn talk much. They have arrived at the manor. It is a big manor. Sarah gets out of the car and stands in front of the gate. She was staring at the manor. In the meantime, Sam comes up to her.

Welcome home, my little princess. I already cleaned your room. ”I make the dinner and you go fresh up, ” Sam says while going to the manor. Sarah enters the mansion. As she is walking up to the stairs, her father calls her and says,

So tomorrow some guests are coming here to give condolences, so I want you to accompany them. ”I don want to hear any excuse, ” David says to Sarah.

Sarah just walking to the stairs and didn reply back to his father. Sarah walks up to the room. As she opens the door, she saw the room was same as she left. No changes make in the room. Her all dolls were in the shelves. her dresses were in the cupboard. It was like the room stuck in time. Sam comes and tells her that dinner is ready.

Can you bring dinner here ” Sarah says to her.

Yes, I can do that ” Sam says to her. Sam brought dinner. Sarah eats and lays on the bed. She asks Sam to stay with her tonight in her room.
