A few weeks later, Temorsths 1st birthday was approaching, he was very excited, his father had promised to start teaching him basic martial arts, he was still a bit too young, but thanks to mana and magic, his body grew faster in those worlds.

His parents suspected that he was developing a little too fast, but they didn care about it, it doesn matter when they start, it happens anyway.

After a few months of seeing Temorsths excitement go unabated, his father made him a wooden sword that fit his small body perfectly, and they began to train him in basic weapon mastery. While his father taught him how to use weapons, his mother taught him magical arts. Because he was forbidden to use mana to help his small body during training, he grew muscles that were not natural for an 18-month-old child.

As the months went by, Temorsth quickly grew stronger as his physical strength grew, he noticed that his body could handle more of his two energies. With that, Aidana updated her estimation.

[Congratulations, the hosts life expectancy has increased by a few months!]

This motivated him even more, he wanted to live now not only for himself but for his family, he didn want to see this family fall apart because of his short life, he didn want to see them leave each other because they were afraid of the future, and stop trying. He wanted to prepare them for his untimely death, but he didn want to die himself because it would make them sad, but there were things that even he didn know.

Not long after his second birthday, he saw his parents getting ready to leave when he saw him come out of his room, his father walked up to him and started talking.

”Son, we have to go take care of some things. We probably won be back for a few months, but you still have to continue training, even if you are alone don lose focus. I already taught you the basic mystery of almost every weapon, when well come back, I hope well see your intermediate weapon mastery. ” Saying this, Xalier stepped aside and let his wife speak. Crouching down, Elahs long silver hair touched the floor, she touched Temorsths shoulder and looked into his eyes.

”Baby you know mom and dad love you? We have to go out but we will hurry back, the golems will take care of everything you need and if you want anything just ask them. ” She almost cried, this will be the first time they will not see each other in more than a week, and will not hear from each other either.

It all felt so unreal and too sudden, Temorsth thought that it must be something really important if they were to act in such haste that they hadn even talked about it before.

”I know, I love mom and dad too but… ” he paused for a moment to think it over and continued

”Where are you two going? Can I go with you? ” He was worried, he wanted to stay with them more, even if just a little longer.

Hearing this Elah looked up at her husband and when she saw him shake his head she reluctantly turned back to Temorsth to gather her strength she took a deep breath.

”Its really nothing, just a little work, but well bring home presents, so don be sad my baby. ” Saying this, she hugged him so tightly that he couldn breathe after a few seconds she let him go, and as she stood up and turned around tears started to fall, seeing this Temorsth took a few steps forward but his father stopped him, Xalier looked down at him.

”Well be back, don worry son, your parents aren so weak that you should worry about them! ” Hearing those words he looked towards the door when he saw his mother looking back at him he nodded.

”I know, don worry, Ill be fine. ” Hearing this, Xalier nodded and left the house, closing the door behind him.

Temorsth listened to his father, trained every day, and continued to learn Common and Elven scripts and eventually began to learn his fathers language, Deep Speech, or the language of the dead, doing what he was told without a day of rest.

The first days went by and the first week came, it wasn strange for him, it happened many times before, but even then at least they come to see him and leave after a few hours.

As the days went by days and weeks went by weeks he started to miss his parents at first it was still acceptable but as time went by he became lonelier than ever the golems could talk but they weren alive like real living things he thought talking to them felt like talking to Ais which were a thing the was popular in his old world.

As time went on, it became more and more difficult for him, Temorsths twenty-year-old mind was affected by his new body and childish instincts, which caused him to miss his parents so much that he could not bear it and became depressed. Now he just wished they would come home soon, but they didn .

Days turned into weeks and weeks slowly turned into months, every day was like hell as he thought about the horrible things that could happen to his parents, he didn want to lose his family again.

Every time he thought of his parents, horrifying images of the battlefield that was outside of the barrier appeared in his mind.

Fearing the worst outcome, he tried to get through the barrier, but was stopped by the guarding golems, he knew that the outside world shown by the barrier was not the real world, but there was nothing he could do, and this continued to eat away at his sanity.

As the months went by, his mind had already collapsed and he only knew when to eat and when to train from the golems reminder, as he couldn lift his head and his face was full of gloom as he spent his days following the thing he was told.

After more than a year on a rather dark day, when clouds blocked the sun from the sky, a child swung his wooden sword with his head towards the ground, his mood constantly swinging from sadness to anger, his face also changing with his feelings. As he swung his sword forward with the anger in him he lost his balance and fell forward, he used his hand to stop himself from falling on his face, he was on all fours looking at the ground, hearing a voice call out to him he turned his head.

”Young Master, its time to eat! ” He looked up and saw the main golem, he slowly stood up and started walking towards the house as he reached the door he looked back seeing the unperturbed barrier not far away he turned back and started walking into the house but as he took one step he heard a different voice.

”Son… ” he didn turn around, he took another step into the house, he started to tremble, but he still didn turn around, he couldn believe it, he was very afraid to turn around, afraid that if he turned around they weren really here, his face broke out in tears and his eyes turned red as he heard another voice.

”I… we
e sorry! ” hearing the break in the voice, he had already taken another step when he hurriedly turned around, already crying loudly, his face was a whole mass as he ran towards them, and they ran towards him, experiencing a wave of emotions, feeling happiness and regret at the same time. The mother and father hugged their son and reassured him that everything was fine.

”Never… never… leave me… again! ” Hearing their sons desperate cry, their hearts were torn to pieces. They hugged him tighter, showing him, that they wouldn let him go.

It was a reunion of a family who hadn seen each other in over a year.

As Temorsth let out his emotions, crying so hard he felt dizzy, he felt his mother and fathers strong arms around him, knowing they wouldn let him go until the world ceased to exist, he knew that they would never leave him.

Time passed and after almost half an hour of them being in each others arms, Temorsth slowly stopped crying and calmed down.

”I have something to tell you! ” Hearing their son, they looked at each other.

”We have something to say too. ”
