The Last Avatar

Kayne is sat behind a rock with his head down to his chest crying still.He remembers the words of her Aunt Lrosa as they echo in his mind.So loud he could feel its reverberation all over the area.He couldn take it.It haunts.

Thud!!Thud!!

He knocks his head twice into the rock behind him with a thought of the excruciating pain to be the remedy to his sorrow and wallowing. Surprisingly it all stopped.He got up to his knees and peeked at the site ahead to see if the men had departed.Luckily they did.He rushed to the grave yard and dug through the rocks with with hand till he found her body again.

”This is not the place to rest. ”he stated.

He carries the body behind and rushed through the woods till he came accros Yohn cave.Yohn saw him struggling with her body.He dropped his limo and ran to Kayne.

The boy seeing the monk in a blurry vision trusts his sight to be Yohn and finally agreed with his legs to fall.

”Kayne!!Kayne!! ”Yohn bellows.

But he was a goner.Deep in a black out.His body was soaked in hunger,weekness and exhaustion…

”Dad is home!! ”screamed Milo.

Tenzin had arrived at air temple.He descended for the byson with Asami to meet the Milo and the other kids.

”I apologize for your truck,Asami.Lin and I will make him pay for the damage. ”Tenzin said.

”I hope so, even though I might be able to pay that off next week it will cost a lot to time to repair the truck.Productivity will be lower than before ”she cried.

”Why don you come in and have a seat,the kids made some tea.It will help you think. ”said Tenzin.

”No thank you,Ill be leaving now,someone need to prepare the site for work tomorrow,its paper work so. ”said Asami.

”I understand,the byson will take you back.Milo will be your driver.Take care Milo. ”said Tenzin.

”Yeah!! thanks dad!! ”Milo jubilates.

”Have a seat ma lady ”Milo soothes his words as he waits for Asami to climb up.He then joins her and off the byson flies.

Tenzin waves them off and walks back into the temple.

Kaynes eyes begun to open reluctantly.

He wakes up to see Yohn preparing soup.Yoohn noticed he was awake and sent him some soup.

”Here you go. ”said Yohn.

He hand the bowl of hot soup into Kaynes hands.

”Becareful its hot!! ”he warned him.

Despite the extreme temperature of the soup.Yohn was shocked to watch Kayne throw it all down his throat.It burned but its seemed he had lost his sense of feeling alive,or feeling pain.He leaves his jaw falling to let out the steam from his mouth.He turned to left and right in search of Lrosa and found her body in the cave covered with a red blanket.

He stood up.His body swayed back and forth but manges to drag his feet.He doddered to her sat next to her.Yohn joined.

”How long is she gonna sleep?Is she sick?Yohn asked.

”Shes dead. ”without hesitation Kayne cried it out to him.

”I need a place to bury her.A place where she can rest in peace. ”he added.

”My condolences my son.Follow me ”he said.

Yohn showed Kayn the area in the swarm to bury his aunt.He believed to be a highly spirited area and that her soul would not be disturbed.This time Kayne gave her a proper burial.But he was angered at reality.He wanted to chaotic enough to blow up the entire earth but he understood he is merely human.

”Come with me Kayne,you need a place to think. ”said Yohn.

Kayne followed him back to the cave and waited outside.

”Here you go.There is a pond nearby,a safe one I assume.Wash up and put these on.They are clean and warm ”Yohn said softly and handed him a monk clean monk robe.

Kayne returned from the pond Im the yellow robe.His hair was tied into a bun and he had shaved the side of his head leaving the top.

”You shaved too?That looks good on you. ”said Yohn.

”Ill take you to a place away from this city.Once you have recovered and found peace then you can fulfill your dreams in life ”he continued.

”Where are you taking me? ”Kayn asked.

”The Aang Memorial Island. ”

”Cheif Lin!!Zit of Cell 095 has escaped. ”an officer clamored.

”What!! Any info on where he last go?That man is too dangerous for the city ”Lin howled.

”He burnt the evidence but left a ring in his cell. ”he said.

”Well track him with this,prepare for patrol in the evening. ”he ordered.

”Yes maam ” he cried.

”That man is pyrotechnic-psychopath and a master of disguise. ”she said in low tone.

A match was about to be held between two probending teams. Tremor Tigers and the Dazzling Doves.Both teams are to be assembled and be on stage in 30 seconds.

”Hey Jinn,are you ready,today we must prove that we are worthy to beat the Fire Ferrets.said a team mate.

”Don worry well burn them to dust. ”said Zit.

”Don get too devious, remember this is just a match,we loosing doesn make us losers. ”said Jinn.

Zit joined the Tremor Tigers in a disguise of a their leader called Kodin.He has locked him in washroom and planned to dispose of him after the match.

”Benders get to the stage!!! ”the announcer shreiked.

”Ok lets go!! ”Jinn hooted.

They three bender begin their walk to the match with the hope to win.

”Im not going back to that prison.This is my new identity.Good thing he matches my element.Its time to burn some corpse ”he said stretched his arms and smirked.

”Ladies and Gentlemen we got a match!!Tremor Tiger in a weakling streak and motivated to winning the tournament faces the Dazzling Doves.Prepare for this battle cuz its not gonna be friendly ”roared the commentator.

Kayne watch the city and its night lights as Yohn rowed the boat.They were half way to the island.Kayne looked completely lost at the gaze of the city.

”What are you thinking boy? ”Yohn asked.

”This world is cruel.My family had a dream,a goal and an image.But the family is gone so is its respect,with no one to remember us.And I know Im not alone in this. ”he said.

”Huh? ”Yohn steered his head to view him from the side of his eye.Clueless of anything Kayne stammered about.

”The Avatar cycle was a mistake,humans are not meant to meddle with the spirits. ”Kayne stated.

”So what are you planning on doing afterwards,pay the Avatar a visit??Yohn asked.

”The Avatar has nothing to offer me and has nothing to offer the world.I will be the one to save the world from this misery….

”I will end the Avatar cycle. ”filled with determination powered by anger and sorrow,he set his main goal to achieve,with prepared motive to fight anything that comes his way.
