nd that person and shred him into pieces!

Rubbing the skin on his body over and over again, until the skin was rubbed red by him, he stopped.

Maybe because soaking in the water relieved the pain slightly, he actually fell asleep in the water.
When he woke up, the water was cold.

Although it was autumn, he really couldn’t stand it after being soaked in cold water for so long.
He got up from the water, put on his clothes, then lay on the bed again and went back to sleep.

He slept very heavily during this night.
He slept until the latter half of the night before he woke up hungry.
The pain on the body had healed a lot.
He was too embarrassed to call others up to cook for him in the middle of the night, so he had to do it himself.

He supported his waist and slowly moved to the kitchen, but when he passed the backyard, he heard the sound of someone practicing sword in the backyard.

Yi HanZhi walked over and took a look curiously, and finally gave up because it was too dark to see the person’s face.
He curled his lips and walked away boredly.

The kitchen was okay, with a lot of ready-made dishes.
But here comes the problem.
He had only used electric rice cookers and gas (stove).
How did this stove work?

In this era, there was no match, then how to make a fire? After trying countless times with flint stone to no avail, Yi HanZhi decisively chose to give up.

That place still hurt badly.
After walking for so long, Yi HanZhi felt like he was about to collapse.
When he passed the backyard, he found that the man who was practicing sword just now was no longer there.
He leaned on the pillar on the side of the room and planned to take a rest and then leave.
Anyway, everyone was asleep and no one was there.
He stretched out his hand and rubbed his sore waist and started cursing.

Thinking of what happened yesterday, Yi HanZhi couldn’t wait to invite all the eighteen generations of the other’s ancestors out to greet him again.

Suddenly someone behind him grabbed his waist, Yi HanZhi was taken aback, and out of instinct, he immediately jumped to the side.

“Who?”

This jump affected the wound behind him.
He grimaced with pain, but still looked forward vigilantly.

The other party seemed to chuckle, then slowly walked to him and turned on the light.

Only then did Yi HanZhi see the person’s face clearly.
It was Bai Jun, who, as usual, covered his face with a purple veil.

“You don’t sleep in the middle of the night and want to scare people to death!”

The other party hung the lamp on the side pillar and he stretched out his hand and handed over something.

Yi HanZhi reached out and took it and found that it was a bottle of herbal medicine paste*.

*(T/N: 膏药 – herbal plaster.
The word actually means ‘plaster’.
Well, call me stupid  but all I could think of first is the bandage type plaster and can’t imagine the way how Yi HanZhi would apply that kind of plaster to his wound.
(;一_一) Like it’s not powder but ‘plaster’! Or, is it just my mistake??? Maybe it’s not in the form of bandage but in a paste form. So, I took the liberty and changed it to ‘herbal medicine paste’.
hehe)

“I saw your face pale this morning.
I think you should have been injured.
This medicine is excellent.
The wound will heal within three days.”

Actually, when he went back this morning, his conscience suddenly found out that presumably Young Master Yi had suffered injury in that place, and he must be embarrassed to call a doctor.
After all, Yi HanZhi was injured, and he was partly to blame.
The medicine yesterday was too powerful, and he also didn’t know it would be that strong.

Yi HanZhi looked at the medicine bottle in his hand, and felt that the protagonist suddenly became concerned and caring? He must have evil intentions!* He returned the medicine to the other party, and straightened his back.

*(T/N: 无事献殷勤, 非奸即盗 – one who is unaccountably solicitous is hiding evil intentions (idiom))

“Sorry, I’m not hurt, I don’t need it.”

‘If you really want to be good to me, stay away from me, bastard!’ Yi HanZhi complained about the other party in his heart.
And after he lay on the bed and thought about it, he discovered that according to the original plot, the protagonist should also be in the Furong Pavilion yesterday.
There, the protagonist had sex with the heroine, and at that point, the heroine was so devoted to the protagonist and always stayed with him.
This thought, coupled with the weird behavior of the protagonist this morning, Yi HanZhi had to wonder whether the protagonist knew what he had encountered in Furong Pavilion, but deliberately didn’t say it, and was still taunting him secretly?

“Are you sure you don’t?”

Bai Jun raised his eyebrows and looked directly at the opponent.
Obviously, he looked so painful that he couldn’t stand it, but he was still trying his best to pretend to be calm.

In order to show that he was really okay, Yi HanZhi also raised his leg and walked around for a few steps, bounced around, and cold sweat was flowing out of his forehead, but he didn’t care.
Instead, he raised his head and looked at Bai Jun.

“Do you think I look like something wrong?”

Bai Jun smiled and shook his head, stuffed the medicine into Yi HanZhi’s hand, walked away, and waved with his back facing Yi HanZhi.

“This is the original herbal medicine paste from my Feng Huo Sect.
You can’t buy it in most places, so let me repay Young Master with it for letting me stay here! Please don’t reject it anymore.”

The reason why Bai Jun wanted to turn his back was because he was afraid that he couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
The person in front of him was so interesting.
He couldn’t help but like him a little bit, and wanted to tease him for no reason.

Yi HanZhi took the medicine in his hand and returned to the room with a complicated expression.
Should he use the medicine given by this dog protagonist? This product would not poison him, would it? Why did this guy suddenly give him medicine so kindly? After thinking about it for a long time, all the thoughts in his heart were rejected one by one.
First, if the protagonist really wanted to kill him, he could just finish him off with a palm.* There was no need to spend so much time and effort.
Second, it was meaningless for the protagonist to kill him.
After all, he had no grievances with the protagonist in the book.

*(T/N: The raw is ‘男主若真要杀他给他一掌他就得gg了’.
“gg” is kinda like ‘game over’ here but I didn’t translate that part word for word and made some change, anyway it’s the same meaning, stating that he would be dead and out of the game (from the book/novel).)

Thinking of this, Yi HanZhi still used Bai Jun’s medicine unconvincingly.
The medicine was refreshing and cool, and it was especially comfortable to apply to the wound.

Yi HanZhi couldn’t help but have a little bit of a good impression or so of the male lead.
