The Only Necromancer

Today I hurriedly left for Incheon. There were 3 E-Rank portals that just appeared a few days ago. I got this information from the hunter application, as usual this application is very useful for me. Ive also taken a package from the hunter shop, after using this ring I feel my strength has increased a bit. According to information from the hunter forum, it seems that there will be many parties gathering near the portal to recruit other hunters. This only applies if no guild takes over to complete the portal. However, it is very rare for a guild to maintain an E-Rank portal. Even the weakest guilds in Korea mostly only manage D-Rank portals. This is because the profits from the E-Rank portal are very low. The difference between the earnings of E-Rank and D-Rank portals is quite large, the difference can be up to 3 times the profits of E-Rank portals. It made perfect sense why many guilds didn care about E-Rank portals.

Finally I arrived at where the portal was. I was at the nearest E-Rank portal. I saw that there were a lot of E-Rank hunters around here, they seemed to be gathering members. There were also members of the Hunter Association manning the front of the portal. When a party wants to enter the portal they must register their party with the Hunter Association members. After that they can enter the portal. Hunters can exit the portal if they return to where the portal was originally located, but in certain situations they must kill monsters to be able to return. Therefore the Hunter Association advises hunters to use emergency bracelets before entering the portal, because then the Hunter Association can provide assistance. There is a limit to how many people can enter the portal depending on the portal itself. But usually E-Rank portals have a limit of 5-10 people.

I was walking around and I think I saw a party that was in need of melee dps. My class is swordsman. I think I can join their party. Then I approached them, and I asked.

”Do you guys still need members? Im a swordsman ”

”Hey you look familiar… Ooooo you were the hunter who made the news yesterday! ”

”haha I didn expect myself to be there, can I join? ”

”Of course, introduce my name is Cho Minsu just call Minsu and Im a Crusher ”

Finally I can join a party. They have 4 members, with me there are 5 of us.

”That skinny man over there in dark clothes is an apprentice mage, his name is Sung Chul ”

”And our last member is someone with bandit class, the bald mans name is Min Gyu he is a shy person ”

Our leader Minsu introduced all of our members and also told me about their classes. The composition of this party is actually quite good, they even have 2 people with D-Rank class. But it seems the weakness is in melee attacks, bandits have a small attack range and also weak defense. Even though he looks bigger than me, he actually has lower constitution stats than me. Maybe that was the reason they were looking for a swordsman. I hope my first portal raid goes well.

Just as we were talking, suddenly there was a lot of noise. Many people were crowding in front of the path leading to the portal. It seemed like something had happened, not long after that I could see someone walking towards us. I don know if what I saw is true or not, but the second strongest hunter in Korea.

I heard Minsus stuttering voice while seeing Pyon Hee-Ra walking towards us. Everyone looked this way, Pyon Hee-Ra walked towards our party with her guild members. I am very confused about the current situation.

We entered the portal at the same time, after entering I was very surprised by this place. This is the second portal Ive ever entered, and I thought all portals will have the same environment. But this time the portal is in the middle of the forest, I don know why but this place feels very interesting. Unlike the cave yesterday, this forest has good lighting. The sun could shine through the trees so it would be easy for us to see the monsters. Right after entering the portal it will not be accessible for the first 5 minutes, but after that we can go back through the portal again.

Around our entrance portal it seems that there are no monsters at all. Minsu then led the way forward, it could be seen that there was a path we could take right in front of us. I already took out my bone sword before entering the portal so they wouldn get suspicious. After walking for a while we saw 4 goblins trying to ambush us.

”Everyone take positions! ”

We immediately set our position after Minsu gave the order. There are 2 goblins on the left side and 2 goblins on the right side, with my current position I can finish off the 2 goblins on the left easily. Looks like they can take on the other 2 goblins.

”I will kill 2 goblins on the left ”

I ran as fast as I could, my body felt light I felt I could kill them easily. Then I used my skill.

With just one slash I managed to kill the 2 goblins, when I turned back to my party it looked like they had also finished off the other 2 goblins.

I managed to gain the trust of my party, everyone seems more relaxed now. Im sure we can clear this portal without any problems.

Weve been in the portal for about 30 minutes, weve killed about 30 goblins. The loot looks pretty good too, we got E-Rank mana stones, as well as some equipment like goblin blades and some other stuff. Its been pretty easy so far, although its not much but weve made around 6 million won, but there will be a tax on items sold to the Hunter Association. Besides that I don seem to have had any stat increases so far, even though Ive killed quite a number of goblins. For now Ill let it be.

Suddenly when we were continuing our raid, there was a strange sound in front of us. There was a loud sound, and suddenly there were many goblins surrounding us. There are quite a number of them and it looks like this will be difficult. But there was a troublesome monster, there was a Goblin King. The Goblin King is an E-Rank boss monster that can be found in portals filled with goblins. Some of my party members look exhausted, the number of enemies is around 20. Plus theres a Goblin King.

”Everyone stay focused! I will lure their aggro! You guys prepare to attack ”

Minsu caught the attention of all the goblins, after that I moved to attack the goblins from behind. ”Sung Chul help Minsu with your magic! I will finish this goblin from behind! ”

I ran towards the Goblins and managed to kill 4 of them. But their number is still very large.

”ahhhh….help me ”

Jae Yun was attacked by a goblin hiding behind a bush. Damn, now its going to be really hard. I rushed back to finish off the goblin.

Damn, now I can stay away from the party. We can hold out any longer at this rate, even if I kill a few more its still too much.
