Hexin gave a start and when she looked up at the young man’s back, she replied without really meaning it, “Alright.”

Long Yin turned back to look at her when he heard her.
“You’re being too careful.
There is no need to be this way.”

Hexin’s lips moved.
She wanted to say something but gave up in the end.
Instead, she replied softly, “I’ll remember that.”

She felt that she did not need to act so carefully either.
