I will be going back sometime and fixing things/inconsistencies in previous chapters with feedback from the proofreaders.
Please let me know in the comments or on discord if you catch anything or if anything is a issue.
Also, warning about long translator’s notes.
I’ve cut down on the number, but I could have been too chatty for others.

The two of them accompanied Qiqi in solving puzzles for a while.
When Qiqi became drowsy, they helped him wash his face, brush his teeth, and coaxed him to sleep.
Then they started to drink.

They sat on the chairs in the master bedroom with a small coffee table in between.
Yan Qing Chi felt that it was boring to solely drink, so he suggested they play a game.
Jiang Mo Chen thought about it and dug up a pack of poker cards that they began to play with.

Yan Qing Chi drank alcohol and spoke while playing poker.

In the beginning, Jiang Mo Chen was quite taciturn.
After a few more drinks, however, he slowly began to loosen up.

At the end, they didn’t bother with the game anymore; instead, they slouched in their chairs as they chatted, venting about their inner displeasure.

Jiang Mo Chen didn’t understand, “Say, was I possessed by a ghost? Otherwise how could I like someone in such a restrained manner?”

Yan Qing Chi knew that he was referring to the Little White Lotus.
He thought about it and could only reply, “Well, probably.”

Jiang Mo Chen fell silent for a while.
Suddenly, he turned and asked, “Have you liked anyone before?”

“No.” Yan Qing Chi denied out of habit.
Jiang Mo Chen harrumphed, “That’s unfair, you clearly just broke up with your boyfriend.”

” ”

Yan Qing Chi internally denied, “That’s not my boyfriend.”

However, if he tried to refute that, then he would have to explain about his transmigration.
So he merely gave a perfunctory smile, “We already broke up.
I stopped liking him a long time ago.”

Jiang Mo Chen was truly kind of drunk.
He didn’t doggedly pursue the subject, nodding, “Yeah.
Yeah, you stopped liking him a long time ago.”

Yan Qing Chi turned to look at him and saw that his expression was kind of dazed and hazy.
He (JMC) muttered, “I stopped liking him a long time ago.”

“Then you better remember what you’ve just said.”

“Of course I remember,” Jiang Mo Chen turned towards Yan Qing Chi, “I even remember that we got our marriage certificate today.”

When he said so, he suddenly got up and walked in front of Yan Qing Chi, scooping him up into his arms, “C’mon, it’s time for our wedding night.”

Yan Qing Chi had been wriggling around to get down.
When he heard these words, he was stunned, “What did you just say?”

Jiang Mo Chen turned and walked a couple steps, throwing him onto the bed.
He began to unbutton his shirt, “What else could I say? We’ve already gotten married.
Naturally, we should carry out the obligation of a married couple.”

Who wants to carry out the obligation of a married couple with you!!! Yan Qing Chi practically vomited blood (fake).
He rolled off the bed.
Seeing that he wanted to escape, Jiang Mo Chen strode over and grabbed onto him, “What, you dare to get married but not to ‘start the car’ ?”

“You’re already drunk, and you’re thinking about ‘drunk driving’?” Yan Qing Chi glanced down.
Didn’t they say that it was nonsense that one lost their head when they’re drunk? 1

Jiang Mo Chen noticed his gaze and—for once—was on the same page as him, “You can try it for yourself.
See how drunk I am, and if I’m able to ‘drunk drive’ or not.”

“Once the driver touches alcohol, tears come down from their relatives’ two eyes.2” Yan Qing Chi tried to discourage him.

With a gentle expression, Jiang Mo Chen reassured him, “Don’t worry.
Your relative would absolutely not have tears pouring down from their two eyes.
If anything, it would be you who will have tears pouring down from your two eyes.”

Yan Qing Chi continued trying to talk his way out, “Hey, look, you’ve learned drawing from me before.”

Jiang Mo Chen gave a harrumph, “That counts?”

“Of course it counts! Even though it’s not official, ‘teacher for one day, father forever’3. You can’t treat your daddy this way.”

“Remind me of these words in a bit when we’re headed towards the ‘edge of the city,’ daddy.“

Yan Qing Chi was practically brought to his knees, “Why are you so stubborn?”

Jiang Mo Chen yanked him backwards and pressed down onto him, “It’s not like you’re any better.”

As his words fell, he began to unbutton Yan Qing Chi’s shirt.

Yan Qing Chi grabbed his hand, “Last question.
Can you accept one time each per person?”

Jiang Mo Chen leaned in close, their lips nearly touching.
He said, “Babe, I can accept several times a night for me.”

Yan Qing Chi understood.
He released his hold, spread out his arms, and adopted an appearance of generously meeting his death, “Come then.
Let’s get it done quickly.”

Jiang Mo Chen reckoned that he was probably truly kind of drunk; he actually felt that this kind of Yan Qing Chi was quite cute.
He patted Yan Qing Chi’s face, “That may be quite difficult.”

As it turned out, Jiang Mo Chen’s words were very informative.
After they went up and down Mount Akina4and returned to the “center of the city”, Yan Qing Chi laid on his stomach on the bed and felt the soreness of his body.
He deeply felt that as expected of the main character in the novel, Jiang Mo Chen carried the protagonist halo of a large package and great stamina.

When Jiang Mo Chen turned on the lights, he saw the blanket falling obliquely at his (YQC) waist.
His supple and fair skin was covered in stark hickeys, like flower petals in the snow.
Yan Qing Chi squinted his eyes in the light, his black hair matted with sweat and clinging to his face.
He made for a very gorgeous and beautiful sight.

He (JMC) was the one who tossed and turned the other into this state.
Now that it was over, he discovered his conscience.
He couldn’t help but speak in a warmer tone, gently asking, “Do you need me to carry you over and wash?”

Yan Qing Chi looked at him with an expression like he had seen a ghost.
He sat up, but suddenly thought of something.
He turned to look towards Jiang Mo Chen, “So this means that you’re done for the day?”

“Unless you want to continue?” Jiang Mo Chen said with a smirk.

Yan Qing Chi stared at him and suddenly approached him, pushing him down, “Well, it’s not like we can’t.”

Jiang Mo Chen hadn’t thought that he actually still wanted to put his (YQC) previous words into practice.
He only felt speechless, and flipped them over so that he was on top.
“And here I thought you were tired.
Looks like you still have a lot of energy in you for another round.”

Yan Qing Chi internally retorted, “Well, duh.
How much stamina could this amount of night activity use?” Especially since he was lying down.
Nevertheless, it was his first time, so it did feel odd.
Thus, he could only reach out and push at Jiang Mo Chen’s waist with a broad smile, “How could that be? We should rest.
You’ve worked hard.”

Jiang Mo Chen humblebragged, “It’s nothing much.
If you’re willing, it’s worth it no matter how much work it is.”

“How could I bear to have you do so?” Yan Qing Chi said cooperatively, “Let’s rest.
It’s not early anymore, we should sleep.”

As he said so, he sidled over to the side, gradually sidling off the bed.

Jiang Mo Chen saw that the other man was supporting his waist as he walked towards the bathroom and was concerned, “Are you sure you don’t want me to help?”

As soon as he turned his head, Yan Qing Chi saw that he was preparing to get down.
He hurriedly waved his hands, “No need, no need.
I know how to do it, I’ll do it.”

Jiang Mo Chen instantly paused.
He raised an eyebrow, “Oh? Looks like you’re an experienced ‘driver’.
You’re quite familiar with this, huh.” And he had said that he never liked anyone before! Liar!

Yan Qing Chi heard his cutting words and explained helplessly, “Even if I’ve never eaten pork before, that doesn’t mean that I haven’t seen pigs run.5 When you discover that you like men, wouldn’t you go read relevant books? And afterwards, wouldn’t you read those kind of ahem ahem little yellow books6?”

“Only read?”

“I already told you.
Even though I’m good-looking, I don’t lie.
Don’t think that everyone else is as depraved as you, okay?”

“How am I depraved? I also only read, okay?”

This time it was Yan Qing Chi’s turn to be skeptical, “You? Only read? No hands-on application?”

“It’s called ‘being abstinent.’ ”

“More like, ‘you have very high standards‘.”

Jiang Mo Chen grabbed a pillow and threw it at him.

Yan Qing Chi dodged and guffawed, “And now you’re angry ’cause you’re being called out.” Observing that Jiang Mo Chen was going to erupt again, he hastily made his way to the bathroom.
He swiftly closed the door amidst the sound of the other’s grinding teeth.

” ”

Yan Qing Chi turned on the shower, swiftly showered, and endured his embarrassment as he removed the stuff in his body.
He toweled his hair and blow-dried it with a blow-dryer until his hair was about half-dry before he walked out.

“You changed the sheets?” Once he climbed onto the bed, he noticed that the bedsheets seemed to have been changed.

Jiang Mo Chen grunted, holding out the medicine by the headboard and saying sheepishly, “For you.”

Yan Qing Chi accepted it and set it at his side of the headboard.
He pulled the blanket open and slid in.

“Did I give it to you for you to set it there and admire it?” Jiang Mo Chen felt like the negligible amount of patience that he possessed was going to be squandered away sooner or later by the person beside him.

“I just inspected it (the area).
I wasn’t injured, so it’s not necessary.”

”Really?”

“Absolutely positive.”

Hearing that, Jiang Mo Chen didn’t persist.
He turned off the lights and laid down.

In the black night, there was a period of silence between the two.

Yan Qing Chi was kind of sleepy.
With a “good night”, he turned his back towards Jiang Mo Chen and fell asleep.

Jiang Mo Chen was left alone in the black night with his eyes wide open.
After a long time, they gradually fell shut.

The author has something to say:
(general gist)
Yan Qing Chi is not that serious about switching.
He’s firmly the bottom to Jiang Mo Chen’s top.

From Daed, in case any readers are uncomfortable:

Although it may seem fast that they consummate the marriage now without much romantic feelings between them, it is explained in the future.
Furthermore, it’s consensual and legal.
They both know what they were signing up for, and Jiang Mo Chen had promised to do his best to fulfill a husband’s duty to his partner.

Footnotes

酒后乱性 (jiǔhòuluànxìng) – This is specifically referring to the wild sexual aftermath of being drunk (that it is easier for someone to engage in sexual intercourse under the influence of alcohol). It was actually clever here, the original had it that when the driver touches/takes a (1) drink, his family/relatives cry two (2) streams of tears.
(“司机一滴酒,亲人两行泪。”)TLN: 一日为师终身为父 (yīrìwéishī, zhōngshēnwéifù) – an idiom of which the literal translation is “teacher for one day, father for ever” .
“Teacher” in this sense is referring to the “master-disciple/apprentice” relationship.
It means that regardless of if it’s a teacher/master who has only taught you for a day, you have to treat him like your father for life.
So basically you have to give as much respect to your teacher as you do your own father.
Mount Akina (秋名山), real name Mount Haruna (榛名山, Haruna-san), is a Japanese mountain/stratovolcano famous for its appearance in the manga series Initial D. It has 5 consecutive jagged bends and is the site where Initial D’s main character won his first few races.
It is also the home course of the racing team he is associated with.
Since sexual intercourse in this novel is being metaphorically compared to “street/race car driving”, this is the ‘race course’.
“没吃过猪肉,也见过猪跑” (méichīguozhūròuyějiànguozhūpǎo)- “Even if I’ve never eaten pork (pig meat) before, that doesn’t mean that I haven’t seen pigs run.” – This is a common comparison to mean that even if someone hasn’t personally experienced something before, they’ve heard about it and/or witnessed it so they have some understanding of how it goes.
“Little Yellow Books” (小黄书 xiǎohuángshū) might be referring to books that contain pornography or sexual content.
Or it may be just a simple book with a yellow cover.
