Huo Yunting skimmed through the notes which recorded the time, the place, generally the 5W1Hs of Lu's behavior and even her expressions.
It was more detailed than a romance novel.

In short, she entered quite a number of shops and never stayed for long in there, while her expression looked very grievous.
Based on these clues, Huo was very sure that Lu was missing somebody!

That was when Lu had returned home, lethargically pulling off her shoes with her shrunken back fitting through the small gap she opened.
The rain poured in through the gap and dampened the floor.

Colors were further drained from her face as she bounced into the bathroom and turned on the tap.

Hot water was poured onto her freezing body.
Her muscles relaxed yet her heart remained tight.

She closed her eyes and listened to the whisper of the water, as she thought back to things that happened today and—

Alarmed, she thought the devil gave up on his intrusion when she managed to indulge herself in some silence but it was this bang that caused her to back a few steps away.

He smiled, “We have to save the water, save the Earth and save Mother Nature, you.” Huo the green-eyed monster stepped in front of her.

He threw away his shirt before sending himself into the shower.

“Stop! Please!” She screamed.
